Sudeley Financial was founded by Steven F. Mattaini, JD, CFP®. Mr. Mattaini successfully founded two law firms, in which he served as President and Managing Shareholder.  He selected investments for the retirement plans of each of the firms, and dealt with all aspects of finance, insurance, bank loans and tax.  He retired as a lawyer after 25 successful years of practice in order to found Sudeley Financial and assist others in reaching their financial and personal goals.  Mr. Mattaini is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a past member of both the Archdiocesan Finance Council and General Insurance Committee of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
 
 
Recent news: As the result of a survey of more than 7,000 lawyers,  Minnesota Law and Politics magazine (Oct-Nov. 2009) named Mr. Mattaini as a Trusted Financial Adviser. The respondents were asked, in the survey sent in November 2008 at the height of the financial crisis, whom they trusted with their investments and whether, given the market meltdown, they still had enough trust to recommend their advisers to family and friends.  Fewer than 225 financial professionals were chosen by the magazine as Trusted Financial Advisers.
